Eggs

Our eggs come from a variety of chicken breeds and will vary in shell color and size. Generally, a single hen lays a single egg color for her lifetime, subject to minor variations based on her diet and condition. Eggs are either white or blue primarily, and then those two shades can be tinted by a brown pigment to be varying shades of brown, or green. We have variation from very light brown to the color of milk chocolate, and light teal to olive green. The egg shell color doesn’t provide any indication of the quality of the egg contents directly, but it sure is fun to see a rainbow in the carton!
